Horeb, where my business is located.You can sense this community\\\'s uniqueness as soon as you enter its East side, with the water tower art that celebrates its Norwegian heritage, standing stones and wooden troll characters that decorate the main thoroughfare, and European style round-abouts in lieu of stop lights. A pleasant day can be spent here in our thriving, old fashioned downtown with its antiques, arts and crafts, and other specialty stores. Mt. Horeb is a full service community, with excellent schools, a large public library, a modern aquatic center, nearby Stewart Park and several annual festivals.

Farther afield, in a land that was once touched by glaciers and covered in prairie, residents can enjoy the beauty of rolling wooded hills, rock outcroppings, wide open spaces, lakes and rivers, numerous nearby tourist attractions, and an extensive park system with many recreational opportunities for all seasons.
